Finding your IMEI number takes seconds once you know where to look. This guide covers every method across every major platform — so you can find the IMEI regardless of whether you have the device, the box, or access to your carrier account.

The IMEI number appears on screen immediately. No menu navigation, no settings, no app needed. This is the fastest and most reliable method for any phone.
On dual-SIM phones, two IMEIs are shown — IMEI 1 (primary slot) and IMEI 2 (secondary slot).
How to Find IMEI on iPhone
Method 1: Dial *#06#
Works on all iPhone models.
Method 2: Settings Settings > General > About > IMEI. Scroll down to find the IMEI listed. On dual-SIM models, both IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 are shown. Tap and hold the IMEI to copy it.
Method 3: SIM tray (iPhone 7 through iPhone 13 — non-US) The IMEI is laser-etched on the SIM tray. Remove the SIM tray with a SIM ejector tool (or a paperclip). The IMEI is printed in very small text on the tray itself.
Method 4: iCloud account Log in to iCloud.com. Go to Find My > click on the device. The IMEI is shown in the device details.
Method 5: iTunes / Finder (Mac) Connect iPhone to computer. In iTunes (Windows) or Finder (Mac), select the device and click on the serial number field — it cycles through serial number, IMEI, and MEID.
Method 6: Original box The IMEI barcode is on the back of the iPhone's retail box. Look for the label with barcodes near the bottom — the IMEI is listed.
Note for US iPhone 14 and later: These models are eSIM-only with no physical SIM tray. The IMEI is in Settings and on the box.
How to Find IMEI on Samsung Galaxy

Method 2: Settings Settings > About Phone > Status Information > IMEI. On some Galaxy models: Settings > About Phone > Status > IMEI Information.
Method 3: Samsung Members App Open the Samsung Members app > Support tab > Device diagnostics. The IMEI is displayed.
Method 4: SIM tray The IMEI is printed on the SIM tray of most Galaxy phones (except sealed-back models). Use the SIM ejector to remove it.

If You Don't Have the Phone
Carrier account: Log in to your carrier's website or app. Most carriers display the IMEI of devices registered to your account under "Device Management" or "My Devices."
Google Account (Android): Visit myaccount.google.com > Security > Your Devices. The IMEI of registered Android devices may be displayed.
Apple iCloud: Log in at icloud.com > Find My > select device > see device details including IMEI.
Insurance records: Your mobile insurance policy documentation typically includes the IMEI.
Purchase receipt: Carrier purchase receipts and some retail receipts include the IMEI.
