About this Alcatel × GCI Wireless unlock
GCI Wireless locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Alcatel is straightforward once your account meets GCI Wireless's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Alcatel's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
GCI Wireless country coverage
GCI Wireless operates in 1 country. Your Alcatel unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Alcatel on GCI Wireless
- Can GCI Wireless block this unlock?
- No. Once your Alcatel's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, GCI Wireless cannot reverse it.
- Will my Alcatel stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
