About this ALLVIEW × Chess unlock
Chess locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your ALLVIEW is straightforward once your account meets Chess's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your ALLVIEW's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Chess country coverage
Chess operates in 1 country. Your ALLVIEW unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — ALLVIEW on Chess
- Can Chess block this unlock?
- No. Once your ALLVIEW's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Chess cannot reverse it.
- Will my ALLVIEW stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Chess account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Chess username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my ALLVIEW is still on a Chess payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
