About this Amazon × ICE Wireless unlock
ICE Wireless locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Amazon is straightforward once your account meets ICE Wireless's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Amazon's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
ICE Wireless country coverage
ICE Wireless operates in 1 country. Your Amazon unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Amazon on ICE Wireless
- Can ICE Wireless block this unlock?
- No. Once your Amazon's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, ICE Wireless cannot reverse it.
- Will my Amazon stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my ICE Wireless account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your ICE Wireless username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Amazon is still on a ICE Wireless payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
