About this ASUS × CV Movel unlock
CV Movel locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your ASUS is straightforward once your account meets CV Movel's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your ASUS's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
CV Movel country coverage
CV Movel operates in 1 country. Your ASUS unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — ASUS on CV Movel
- Can CV Movel block this unlock?
- No. Once your ASUS's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, CV Movel cannot reverse it.
- Will my ASUS stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my CV Movel account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your CV Movel username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my ASUS is still on a CV Movel payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
