About this ASUS × Nepal Telecom unlock
Nepal Telecom locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your ASUS is straightforward once your account meets Nepal Telecom's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your ASUS's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Nepal Telecom country coverage
Nepal Telecom operates in 1 country. Your ASUS unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — ASUS on Nepal Telecom
- Can Nepal Telecom block this unlock?
- No. Once your ASUS's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Nepal Telecom cannot reverse it.
- Will my ASUS stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Nepal Telecom account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Nepal Telecom username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my ASUS is still on a Nepal Telecom payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
