About this Blackberry × VTR Movil unlock
VTR Movil locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Blackberry is straightforward once your account meets VTR Movil's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Blackberry's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
VTR Movil country coverage
VTR Movil operates in 1 country. Your Blackberry unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Blackberry on VTR Movil
- Can VTR Movil block this unlock?
- No. Once your Blackberry's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, VTR Movil cannot reverse it.
- Will my Blackberry stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my VTR Movil account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your VTR Movil username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Blackberry is still on a VTR Movil payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
