About this Cinterion BGS1 × Claro unlock
Claro locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Cinterion BGS1 is straightforward once your account meets Claro's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Cinterion BGS1's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.

FAQ — Cinterion BGS1 on Claro
- Can Claro block this unlock?
- No. Once your Cinterion BGS1's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Claro cannot reverse it.
- Will my Cinterion BGS1 stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
