FAQ — Directed Electronics on Tesco Mobile
- Can Tesco Mobile block this unlock?
- No. Once your Directed Electronics's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Tesco Mobile cannot reverse it.
- Will my Directed Electronics stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.

- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Tesco Mobile username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Directed Electronics is still on a Tesco Mobile payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
