About this EGOFONF × A1 unlock
A1 locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your EGOFONF is straightforward once your account meets A1's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your EGOFONF's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
A1 country coverage
A1 operates in 1 country. Your EGOFONF unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — EGOFONF on A1
- Can A1 block this unlock?
- No. Once your EGOFONF's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, A1 cannot reverse it.
- Will my EGOFONF stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my A1 account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your A1 username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my EGOFONF is still on a A1 payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
