About this EmporiaCONNECTbasic × Movistar unlock
Movistar locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your EmporiaCONNECTbasic is straightforward once your account meets Movistar's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your EmporiaCONNECTbasic's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.

- Can Movistar block this unlock?
- No. Once your EmporiaCONNECTbasic's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Movistar cannot reverse it.
- Will my EmporiaCONNECTbasic stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
