About this EmporiaCONNECTbasic × Sprint unlock
Sprint locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your EmporiaCONNECTbasic is straightforward once your account meets Sprint's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your EmporiaCONNECTbasic's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.

- Can Sprint block this unlock?
- No. Once your EmporiaCONNECTbasic's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Sprint cannot reverse it.

- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
