About this Famous Fones × Telia unlock
Telia locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Famous Fones is straightforward once your account meets Telia's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Famous Fones's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Telia country coverage
Telia operates in 4 countries. Your Famous Fones unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

- Can Telia block this unlock?
- No. Once your Famous Fones's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Telia cannot reverse it.
- Will my Famous Fones stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
