About this Famous Fones × Three unlock
Three locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Famous Fones is straightforward once your account meets Three's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Famous Fones's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.

FAQ — Famous Fones on Three
- Can Three block this unlock?
- No. Once your Famous Fones's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Three cannot reverse it.
- Will my Famous Fones stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.

- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Three username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Famous Fones is still on a Three payment plan?
