About this G Vill × Alltel unlock
Alltel locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your G Vill is straightforward once your account meets Alltel's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your G Vill's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Alltel country coverage
Alltel operates in 1 country. Your G Vill unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — G Vill on Alltel
- Can Alltel block this unlock?
- No. Once your G Vill's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Alltel cannot reverse it.
- Will my G Vill stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Alltel account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Alltel username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my G Vill is still on a Alltel payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
