About this Genius Touch × Aircel unlock
Aircel locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Genius Touch is straightforward once your account meets Aircel's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Genius Touch's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Aircel country coverage
Aircel operates in 1 country. Your Genius Touch unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Genius Touch on Aircel
- Can Aircel block this unlock?
- No. Once your Genius Touch's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Aircel cannot reverse it.
- Will my Genius Touch stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Aircel account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Aircel username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Genius Touch is still on a Aircel payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
