About this GOMAXX × Tele2 unlock
Tele2 locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your GOMAXX is straightforward once your account meets Tele2's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your GOMAXX's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Tele2 country coverage
Tele2 operates in 9 countries. Your GOMAXX unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — GOMAXX on Tele2
- Can Tele2 block this unlock?
- No. Once your GOMAXX's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Tele2 cannot reverse it.
- Will my GOMAXX stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Tele2 account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Tele2 username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my GOMAXX is still on a Tele2 payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
