About this HC HICELL × Swisscom unlock
Swisscom locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your HC HICELL is straightforward once your account meets Swisscom's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your HC HICELL's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Swisscom country coverage
Swisscom operates in 2 countries. Your HC HICELL unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — HC HICELL on Swisscom
- Can Swisscom block this unlock?
- No. Once your HC HICELL's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Swisscom cannot reverse it.
- Will my HC HICELL stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Swisscom account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Swisscom username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my HC HICELL is still on a Swisscom payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
