About this HG - × Telenor unlock
Telenor locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your HG - is straightforward once your account meets Telenor's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your HG -'s IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Telenor country coverage
Telenor operates in 9 countries. Your HG - unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — HG - on Telenor
- Can Telenor block this unlock?
- No. Once your HG -'s IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Telenor cannot reverse it.
- Will my HG - stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Telenor account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Telenor username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my HG - is still on a Telenor payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
