About this Huo Lie Niao × O2 unlock
O2 locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Huo Lie Niao is straightforward once your account meets O2's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Huo Lie Niao's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
O2 country coverage
O2 operates in 4 countries. Your Huo Lie Niao unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Huo Lie Niao on O2
- Can O2 block this unlock?
- No. Once your Huo Lie Niao's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, O2 cannot reverse it.
- Will my Huo Lie Niao stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my O2 account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your O2 username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Huo Lie Niao is still on a O2 payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
