About this KOTEL × Entel unlock
Entel locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your KOTEL is straightforward once your account meets Entel's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your KOTEL's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Entel country coverage
Entel operates in 3 countries. Your KOTEL unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — KOTEL on Entel
- Can Entel block this unlock?
- No. Once your KOTEL's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Entel cannot reverse it.
- Will my KOTEL stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Entel account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Entel username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my KOTEL is still on a Entel payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
