About this Mara Phones × Tigo unlock
Tigo locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Mara Phones is straightforward once your account meets Tigo's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Mara Phones's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Tigo country coverage
Tigo operates in 12 countries. Your Mara Phones unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Mara Phones on Tigo
- Can Tigo block this unlock?
- No. Once your Mara Phones's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Tigo cannot reverse it.
