About this Maxon × Azur unlock
Azur locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Maxon is straightforward once your account meets Azur's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Maxon's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Azur country coverage
Azur operates in 2 countries. Your Maxon unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Maxon on Azur
- Can Azur block this unlock?
- No. Once your Maxon's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Azur cannot reverse it.
- Will my Maxon stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Azur account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Azur username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Maxon is still on a Azur payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
