About this Nokia × Unefon unlock
Unefon locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Nokia is straightforward once your account meets Unefon's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Nokia's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Unefon country coverage
Unefon operates in 1 country. Your Nokia unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Nokia on Unefon
- Can Unefon block this unlock?
- No. Once your Nokia's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Unefon cannot reverse it.
- Will my Nokia stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Unefon account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Unefon username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Nokia is still on a Unefon payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
