About this NOTHING × Fonex unlock
Fonex locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your NOTHING is straightforward once your account meets Fonex's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your NOTHING's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Fonex country coverage
Fonex operates in 1 country. Your NOTHING unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — NOTHING on Fonex
- Can Fonex block this unlock?
- No. Once your NOTHING's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Fonex cannot reverse it.
- Will my NOTHING stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Fonex account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Fonex username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my NOTHING is still on a Fonex payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
