About this NOTHING × Mtel unlock
Mtel locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your NOTHING is straightforward once your account meets Mtel's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your NOTHING's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Mtel country coverage
Mtel operates in 1 country. Your NOTHING unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — NOTHING on Mtel
- Can Mtel block this unlock?
- No. Once your NOTHING's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Mtel cannot reverse it.
- Will my NOTHING stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Mtel account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Mtel username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my NOTHING is still on a Mtel payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
