About this Novatel Wireless × T-Mobile unlock
T-Mobile locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Novatel Wireless is straightforward once your account meets T-Mobile's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Novatel Wireless's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.

- Can T-Mobile block this unlock?
- No. Once your Novatel Wireless's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, T-Mobile cannot reverse it.
- Will my Novatel Wireless stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
