About this SAM-G × Sprint unlock
Sprint locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your SAM-G is straightforward once your account meets Sprint's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your SAM-G's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Sprint country coverage
Sprint operates in 3 countries. Your SAM-G unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — SAM-G on Sprint
- Can Sprint block this unlock?
- No. Once your SAM-G's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Sprint cannot reverse it.
- Will my SAM-G stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Sprint account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Sprint username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my SAM-G is still on a Sprint payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
