About this Seeing Machines × Wind unlock
Wind locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Seeing Machines is straightforward once your account meets Wind's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Seeing Machines's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Wind country coverage
Wind operates in 2 countries. Your Seeing Machines unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Seeing Machines on Wind
- Can Wind block this unlock?
- No. Once your Seeing Machines's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Wind cannot reverse it.
- Will my Seeing Machines stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Wind account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Wind username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Seeing Machines is still on a Wind payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
