About this T-smart × Etisalat unlock
Etisalat locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your T-smart is straightforward once your account meets Etisalat's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your T-smart's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Etisalat country coverage
Etisalat operates in 4 countries. Your T-smart unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — T-smart on Etisalat
- Can Etisalat block this unlock?
- No. Once your T-smart's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Etisalat cannot reverse it.
- Will my T-smart stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Etisalat account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Etisalat username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my T-smart is still on a Etisalat payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
