About this TAIYO YUDEN × Wind unlock
Wind locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your TAIYO YUDEN is straightforward once your account meets Wind's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your TAIYO YUDEN's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Wind country coverage
Wind operates in 2 countries. Your TAIYO YUDEN unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — TAIYO YUDEN on Wind
- Can Wind block this unlock?
- No. Once your TAIYO YUDEN's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Wind cannot reverse it.
- Will my TAIYO YUDEN stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.

- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Wind username, PIN, or account number.
