About this U&K × Lycamobile unlock
Lycamobile locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your U&K is straightforward once your account meets Lycamobile's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your U&K's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Lycamobile country coverage
Lycamobile operates in 4 countries. Your U&K unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — U&K on Lycamobile
- Can Lycamobile block this unlock?
- No. Once your U&K's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Lycamobile cannot reverse it.
- Will my U&K stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Lycamobile account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Lycamobile username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my U&K is still on a Lycamobile payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
