About this WTG × Access Telecom unlock
Access Telecom locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your WTG is straightforward once your account meets Access Telecom's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your WTG's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Access Telecom country coverage
Access Telecom operates in 1 country. Your WTG unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — WTG on Access Telecom
- Can Access Telecom block this unlock?
- No. Once your WTG's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Access Telecom cannot reverse it.
- Will my WTG stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Access Telecom account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Access Telecom username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my WTG is still on a Access Telecom payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
