About this Wxxh × Movistar unlock
Movistar locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Wxxh is straightforward once your account meets Movistar's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Wxxh's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Movistar country coverage

FAQ — Wxxh on Movistar
- Can Movistar block this unlock?
- No. Once your Wxxh's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Movistar cannot reverse it.
- Will my Wxxh stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Movistar account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Movistar username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Wxxh is still on a Movistar payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
