About this Zhane × Virgin unlock
Virgin locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Zhane is straightforward once your account meets Virgin's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Zhane's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Virgin country coverage
Virgin operates in 3 countries. Your Zhane unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Zhane on Virgin
- Can Virgin block this unlock?
- No. Once your Zhane's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Virgin cannot reverse it.
- Will my Zhane stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Virgin account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Virgin username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Zhane is still on a Virgin payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
