About this Zhi Ling Tong × O2 unlock
O2 locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Zhi Ling Tong is straightforward once your account meets O2's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Zhi Ling Tong's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.

FAQ — Zhi Ling Tong on O2
- Can O2 block this unlock?
- No. Once your Zhi Ling Tong's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, O2 cannot reverse it.
- Will my Zhi Ling Tong stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my O2 account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your O2 username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Zhi Ling Tong is still on a O2 payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
