About this ZIMA × Telenor unlock
Telenor locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your ZIMA is straightforward once your account meets Telenor's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your ZIMA's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Telenor country coverage
Telenor operates in 9 countries. Your ZIMA unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — ZIMA on Telenor
- Can Telenor block this unlock?
- No. Once your ZIMA's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Telenor cannot reverse it.
- Will my ZIMA stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.
- Do I need my Telenor account credentials?
- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Telenor username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my ZIMA is still on a Telenor payment plan?
- It depends on the device's status. Start with the eligibility check at our unlock checkout — that page explains how the two-stage payment works before you commit.
