About this Maxon × Cellcom Guinee unlock
Cellcom Guinee locks devices to its network when sold on contract or financed. Unlocking your Maxon is straightforward once your account meets Cellcom Guinee's eligibility criteria — typically the device must be paid off and not reported lost or stolen.
DeviceDecoded uses the manufacturer's official unlock channel. We submit your Maxon's IMEI directly, and once approved, the device is permanently whitelisted. The unlock survives factory resets, OS updates, and SIM swaps.
Cellcom Guinee country coverage
Cellcom Guinee operates in 1 country. Your Maxon unlock works regardless of which country it was originally sold in.

FAQ — Maxon on Cellcom Guinee
- Can Cellcom Guinee block this unlock?
- No. Once your Maxon's IMEI is whitelisted on the manufacturer's database, Cellcom Guinee cannot reverse it.
- Will my Maxon stay unlocked after a factory reset?
- Yes. The unlock is permanent at the factory level — it persists through factory resets, OS updates, and SIM changes.

- No. We unlock by IMEI alone. You don't need to provide your Cellcom Guinee username, PIN, or account number.
- What if my Maxon is still on a Cellcom Guinee payment plan?
