How Huawei Warranty Works
Huawei provides a standard two-year manufacturer warranty in the European Union and Middle East, and a one-year warranty in most other regions including China and Latin America. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship — including battery, display, charging port, and main-board failures — under normal usage conditions.
Coverage excludes accidental damage, water damage, software issues caused by unofficial firmware, and physical damage from drops. Battery degradation is covered only if the battery health drops below 80% during the warranty period as a result of a manufacturing defect.
Because Huawei's warranty terms vary significantly between markets — and because devices sold via parallel imports are often not covered in the destination country — checking your specific IMEI against Huawei's official warranty database is the only reliable way to confirm coverage before requesting a repair.

Tip: Find your Huawei IMEI by dialling *#06# or in Settings → System → About phone. The warranty status is tied to the IMEI, not the SIM card.
Huawei Warranty by Region
Huawei warranty terms differ by where the device was originally sold. The warranty period and what it covers depends on the region of first sale — not the country you currently live in.
Mandated by EU consumer law. Covers manufacturing defects only.
Same as EU under retained consumer protection legislation.
Standard regional Huawei warranty for phones and tablets.
Standard "Three Guarantees" policy — repair, replace, or refund.
Most countries follow the 12-month standard warranty.
Coverage varies — check specific country authorised service.
What Our Huawei Warranty Check Reveals

- Activation date: The date the warranty period started.
- Expiry date: When standard coverage ends.

- Model identification: Confirms the exact P / Mate / Nova model.
- Service eligibility: Whether the device qualifies for free repair under warranty.
Out-of-Warranty Options
If your Huawei device is out of warranty, you still have options. Huawei's authorised service centres offer paid repairs at fixed prices for screen, battery, and main-board issues — typically 30–60% cheaper than generic third-party repair shops, with genuine parts and a 90-day repair warranty.
For older Huawei phones running EMUI/HarmonyOS, you can also explore checking the IMEI for blacklist status if you're considering reselling, or verifying it isn't reported lost or stolen.
